Welcome to the website for the series The Guardians of the Rings! Feel free to wander around the site, and take the time to read the stories, telling the tale of elves, a wizard, and some rather nasty ring-wraiths back from the dead. Along with a whole cast of friends who have been brought back to help... if rather a little different from what the heros of our story remember them.
We also have wallpapers, banners, and backgrounds inspired by this series, and we welcome the submission of fan-art of the various characters, places, and items in this story. If you want to submit a piece of fan-art, please send it attatched as a jpeg (.jpg) or a gif (.gif) file to ringguardians@yahoo.com.
Oh, and when reading the stories, please take the time to submit a review! We, the authors of these stories, greatly appreciate the feedback, and if we recieve reviews, we will try to give responses - either via email, or in a page on this site.
The Stories
The chaptered main stories, and the series of ficlets that make up the back-story. Haldir, Legolas, Elledan, Elrohir have been guarding the treasures of Middle Earth for millenia, from the depredations of time, nature, and the occassional would-be thief. But now they have a larger problem on their hands, and are going to need help to keep the rings - oh, those dratted rings! - out of the hands of their former owners.
The Characters
All the characters in the series, both in the back-story, and the main stories. Includes images, a bio, links, and a list of the stories the character is actually in. We cover both the canon characters and the originals, good guys and bad guys, so if the character is in these stories somewhere, we have them covored.

The Wallpapers
All the wallpapers here were created for this series either by one of the authors, or submitted by a reader. If the stories inspire a wallpaper, let us know! We'd love to host the wallpaper here, or post a link to your site. Note: All the wallpapers are 1024x768 pixels in size. We are working to update this, and offer them in 800x600 pixels as well.
The Banners
All the banners were created by one of the authors for this series, and are 606x173 pixels for use on message boards. We do not have them in any other size due to the difficulty in resizing them without a good deal of pixelization. We do take banners from readers if they are related to the series.
The Backgrounds
Backgrounds for the story, and for Lord of the Rings fans. Note: This section is under construction, and currently does not have any content. Please check back, we hope to have this corrected soon.
We also have plans for some series-inspired avatars and buttons eventually, so you can link to this site with something pretty, or show off to everyone that you like this series. Please keep checking back, there will be an announcement before I put up the avatars and buttons in their own section.
